22 February, 2007
(2 ) 22:32 And February comes to an end.
CNY has come and gone, and the only thing I like about it is the money I get. Haha. That's so materialistic, right? But CNY is so boring. All I do is sit and stare at the TV for most of the day. Smile and grin and say the appropriate words to relatives, try not to cringe at my attempts at conversation with cousins I don't see more often than once or twice a year. No really, it's not as bad as I make it sound.
Went to Ms Yang's house on Tuesday to catch up with JC friends. Haven't seen most of them since December, I think. After that I went to Meow's house! Lots of food and XBox. :D But since I came so late, we didn't really play a lot of it. Oh yeah, saw Snowie (is that how you spell his name?) as well! He's so FAT. FATFATFAT. But he seems to have become more well behaved and didn't bark as much. His fur is soooo gorgeously soft. Like a carpet, according to Dawn.
We finally went to Kbox! Haha. Just before Yingwan and Dawn disappear. And we sang from about 3pm to 8pm. :O There was almost nobody and we didn't get chased out. In fact, we had to take our bill to the counter to pay. Voluntarily. That was a first.
Watched Letters from Iwo Jima with Yingwan today! It's really good. I recommend everyone who loves a good war flick (or anything Japanese) to check it out. We had to sit in the FRONT ROW though. After watching Pirates of the Caribbean in the front row I swore never to again, but we had no choice. And we really really wanted to watch Letters from Iwo Jima. There were so many people at the cinema (we went to PS)! Shouldn't everyone else be in school/working? Only ne'er-do-wells like me and part-timers like Yingwan should be out and about.
Since Yingwan had to leave for her job after the movie, I went to the library, since I had Jap class later and didn't want to go home. That's so typical of me, isn't it? To go to the library. =.=; But anyway, I borrowed Jonathan Carroll's The Land Of Laughs again. It is such a magical book. His words are like a song and reading them makes me happy and sad.
Mmm. A level results are going to released soon. GAH. And I have to apply for Uni soon. I looked through the courses and stuff and there's nothing I really want to do. O.o;; So far I'm tentatively looking at NTU's School of Communication and Information. Bah. I don't know if I'll make it though.
