Repeated @23:32
Ugh, today's episode of Twelve Kingdoms just recounted everything. Well, it's good in a way, because I didn't catch the front part of it.
Also, watched The Day After Tomorrow again, today. Hehe. It still riveted me as much as it did the first time I watched it. Especially the wolf part, when they closed the door and the wolves slammed into the glass and there was blood everywhere. ^^
I'll watch the rest of the deleted scenes tomorrow, because Mother wanted the TV. Mehh. We have like, 4 TVs in the house. But one requires a lot of abuse to get it to work, one has colour problems, and the last is not really working. So we only have one TV that works right. Hmm.

Running Around @16:43
Coming up tails,
Heads on a science apart.'
- Coldplay's The Scientist
Had to wake up sooo early today. At 7am. I usually wake up at 9 or 10. Haha. So I dragged my ass out of my warm inviting bed and scooted off to Hwa Chong.
Had to go there to do some stuff, and was supposed to meet at 8.30am. I was told that we were to meet at a certain computer lab next to he general office, but when I couldn't find it and asked, the lady told me that they changed the venue! HRMPH! So I had to find my way to the AVA Room, which is above the Amphitheatre. After much walking around, I found the place.
Luckily when I reached there, they had not yet began their briefing or whatever. There were quite a few people from various schools, and I saw 2 St. Nick's people. Special (stream) girls. One of them is quite 'well-known' track girl, if I may use the term, but I can't remember her name. Wan Xin or Wan Er or something or other. The other girl is one of those I recognise but don't know. Yeah. So basically you had to fill in this subject combination form thing, and they called everyone by name. It was kind of funny, actually, because they began like this: 'Can all those with surnames starting with A through K come down please.' And it went on. It didn't take long. Oh yeah, did I say? My subject combination code is S3e. It is the most boring combination available. I'll be (supposedly) studying Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Further Maths. Ooo. Boring-ness! I'll somehow survive, don't worry.
So after you fill in the subject combi form, you line up and get your letter-thing. The one you have to bring to your posted school and get the principal/vice-principal (official people) to sign and stamp, then bring it back to the general office before 3. So I got the letter, and went to NJ which is just across the road! So convenient. Yeah, right. It was a lot of walking. Walk, walk, walk. Ugh. I entered through the main gate, but for some odd reason I wanted to exit by the small gate by the main road. Well, it was locked. So I had to walk back ALL THE WAY to the main gate etc. etc. I was gong to die. I hate walking. I am the most unfit person you'll ever meet. Ugh.
SO, (yes, there's still one more thing) when I submitted the letter back (after it had been stamped/signed) I had to fill in a another form! YAY! MORE FORMS! *sarcasm* It was for the application of another ez-link card, I think. But guess what? I DIDN'T BRING MY EZ-LINK CARD. My dad fetched me there, and I didn't realise. >< So I was kind of having a mini panic-attack. Yeah. So the nice lady at the general office told me to fax it over instead. Yup. And I had to pay coins for taking bus. Ugh. I hate paying coins. It's so loud. And the first time, I gave too little. And the stupid rude bus driver stared at me and asked me where I was going and demanded I pay more.
After that, went to Orchard with Mother. Bought a jacket! It's like SOOO expensive. >< But we bought it anyway. But it's really cool, sort of denim/corduroy texture, the real heavy kind.
I'm having a headache. It's quite bad/annoying. I wanted to sleep it off just now, but it didn't work. Ho hum. *in pain*
Oh yeah, changed the desktop screenshot on the sidebar. CTRL+F5 (refresh without reading from cache) if you're still seeing the green Golden Sun wallpaper. ^^ It's now a Kingdom Hearts one with SORA on it!! Wee!

Passed Away @22:10
Since I was playing Sword of Mana, decided to play its predecessor, Final Fantasy Adventure for the Gameboy just for fun. I find this particular scene very funny...

Accepted? @21:08
Received The Phonecall a while ago. My appeal was succesful, apparently. I have to go to Hwa Chong tomorrow to get some letter thing to give NJ etc... you know, shou3 xu4, procedures.
I wonder if they'll interview me then? I don't think so. But it's odd, isn't it, to appeal without an interview? You won't know who you're accepting in your school.
What strikes me as bewildering is that I don't need to give an interview or write an essay, because Yingwan has to. She's appealing for Temasek JC. She went today. I haven't 'met' her yet, online. I'll ask her how it went if I do.
You know, I actually STOPPED USING THE COMPUTER for a while and went to read. Yeah. I've never done that. I've been on the computer I think 90% of my time during the holidays. I am sad and pathetic. But I have to finish Dune quick because it's OVERDUE. Haha. I think someone reserved it, so I can't renew it. Yes. So I'm holding it hostage. It's not a difficult read. The first time I read it, I thought it was boring. Well, it IS a little, because there's quite a lot of politics involved, but it's quite okay. I'm already 116 pages into the book.

Sword Of Mana @12:41
Blah, I've been playing Sword of Mana. Tsk tsk. I find some parts of it extremely irritating. I chose to play the Hero in the game, and in some parts the Heroine joins you. I find her EXTREMELY annoying, because she gets in my way when I try to kill monsters. And, she's not much use, really, because she always depletes her mana too fast and is not even accurate. I wonder how she randomly levels up at all.
Another thing that annoys me is the stupid lucky-chance treasure box thing. You know, sometimes enemies drop items in the guise of a treasure box. I'm getting so many that rotates that lucky-chance ring of spikes/stones/arrows and 'OK!' signs. You must know when to press the A-button, or else you get hurt. Ugh. Can't they just... I don't know, give me the item already?

Little Trip @16:17
My little excursion took me less than 2 hours, there and back. Brought my trusty MP3 player along. Heehee! ^^
It's refreshing to take a bus instead of having to take the MRT. I think I like it better. Left the house at about 10.45am and took 174 from Boon Lay interchange.
You know, I enjoy the camaraderie bus drivers have among each other. Today I saw another bus driver giving a thumbs up sign as he was driving past, to the one driving the bus I was in. It's like one big family.
Anyway, got down at the right bus stop, hehe. It's the one right after the NJ one. Crossed the bridge, and walked to the Admin building. Did I write about the Admin building before? I probably have. It's big and echoey and empty. And your footsteps ring too loud and too long on the staircase. >< It's like announcing your presence, and I don't like that. Especially since it's not my school at all. I feel as if I'm trespassing. Eek.
In case you have no idea what I am talking about, I went to Hwa Chong today to submit my appeal application form.
Oh yeah! I got accepted into Four Seasons today. ^^ Happiness.

Bittersweet @16:13
Just finished watching Six Weeks. The closing music (I don't know what to call that) is terribly sad. It's of this little girl singing and it really wrenches my heart. I was going to record it, but by the time I fumbled my way to the microphone and opened the programme, it was too late.
If I remember, I'm going to record it next week and post it up.
One more week. The Last Week.
I think it's going to be a happy ending -- that's the least the scriptwriters could do, I guess.
The wedding thing? It was okay. Kept up my appearance of being 'happy and cheerful'. Was not moody and sulky. Triumph for me! Was talking to my uncles and aunts. Yeah. My cousin who's two years older than me sat with us. She's going to uni next year. Ironically, aforementioned uncles and aunts were talking to ME about what I want to read in uni. Hmm. I think she hates me.
Bought an Ozozo Sac denim messenger bag. ^^
Installed AIM again. Dunno why. Probably because of RP. But it brings back so many memories. Was trying to look for it (I still can't find it), and came across this:

It's dated Saturday, December 25, 2000, 1:41:54 PM. Oh my God. I feel like crying. I don't know why. I think it's the show, the song, and the memories. A volatile brew.
I'm going to clean my room. I swear.

Liking & Disliking @19:38
Watched You've Got Mail last night on Channel 5. GASP. Channel 5. I'm actually WATCHING Channel 5. Actually I also intend to catch Pay it Forward, which is showing I-don't-know-when. I love Haley Joel Osment. ^^
Anyway, I loved the movie, You've Got Mail, even if the plot isn't original and it's infinitely cheesy or whatever. You know why? Because the two main characters own BOOKSTORES. HEEHEE. I was in book-heaven while watching. Besides, I kind of like Greg Kinnear (no reason, dunno why either) who had a small role in the movie. ^^
Going for my cousin's ROM/wedding thing later. I don't profess that I'm actually going to enjoy it or anything. I feel evil. I am happy for him, of course, but I'm selfish and I don't want to go because I hate social events where there are a lot of people. I really really don't want to go. But I have to. Ugh.
OH YES. I haven't announced it. Remember the MP3 player? I BOUGHT ONE. It's a Creative MuVo V200 512MB, and it cost me $269 I think. Right now I have 4 albums on it and I'm gonna bring it around with me wherever I go. Weeeee.

Library @11:45
Fuck, I am pissed with the library renewal system. I was going to renew two books, Ring and Dune. So I happily logged on to the library website to renew them.
However...
(1) of the book(s) could not be renewed due to the following reasons:
- You have exceeded the Renewal Quota.
- The item you wish to renew has been reserved by another user.
- The item is a Claim Return item.
Audiovisual items cannot be renewed.
- You cannot renew items borrowed from the Community Children's Library (CCLs) at Community Libraries, and vice versa.
- You have insufficient credit in your pre-paid account.
- You have outstanding fines/fees. Please settle these before renewing.
- There is a technical problem.
SO. Which damn reason is it? I want to know if I have 'exceeded the Renewal Quota'. Heck, what IS the 'Renewal Quota'? Has this piece of shit been reserved? Is it a 'Claim Return' item, whatever that is? UGH.
And what makes me doubly angry is that IT'S DUNE, for God's sake. It's the VERY BOOK I WANT TO RENEW. Yet because of this stupid error, (I believe I have exceeded my 'Renewal Quota' because I renewed The Algebraist) I CAN'T RENEW DUNE. It renewed Ring instead. I would take Dune over Ring ANY DAY.
If I had known of this 'Renewal Quota' beforehand, I would not have selected Ring to be renewed. GOOD LORD. This is making me SO pissed. Now I can't read Dune. This fucking sucks. I can't even BUY it because I can't FIND it. Well, not that I would like to buy it yet, because I want to see if it's WORTH my money. YEESH.

Fanlistings @02:57
Joined a couple of fanlistings, and made my joined page just a teensy-bit more detailed. ^^ I wish there was a Twelve Kingdoms fanlisting. I would make one, but I have no 'expertise'. I mean, I haven't even watched more than 3 episodes of that show!
I've changed my mind. I like TK more than Inuyasha. Haha.

I WANT! @01:15
Oh my God, I so want this (AIWA HZ-WS2000). I don't know why I'm starting to want an MP3 player. Maybe it's because I've been ripping my CDs lately so I can play them on the computer without having to bring my CDs up and down.
Oh yeah I applied to join Four Seasons, another wolf RP. It's quite cool, and has been running for about a year. I hope it starts to get active though, because it seems a little bit dead right now. Hmm. OH yes. Have I told you guys about my new wolf Clavius? He's SO adorable. ^^

I apologise for the size, it's a little large. >< Anyway, I cheated, drawing that picture. I saved a photo from the 'net, then I traced over it. Even the colours are so-called 'traced' over, that is, I picked the colours from the original photo and applied them accordingly.
An interesting fact: Clavius is the name of a crater on the moon. ^^ Isn't that cool? That's why in my RP posts, Clavius always refers to the moon, or else I write some moon imagery or whatnot. Heehee. AND that's also why he's almost totally white.
If anyone is nosey and wants to know, I got into National Junior College, but I appealed for Hwa Chong. I didn't want to appeal, initially, because 1) I was too lazy to go to Hwa Chong to appeal and 2) I personally think appealing is kind of like cheating. I mean, you already got posted to this school because you couldn't get in to the school of your choice, so you appeal to that school, just so that you can get in. You may or may not get in, and I'm not sure how the appeal system works. But anyway if you appeal successfully, then it's quite... I dunno, unfair to the other students who got in purely based on merit.
But I appealed anyway, because everyone I asked said, 'No harm done if you appeal!' So I did. I didn't know what to expect initially -- I thought they would make me write reasons why I should be accepted into Hwa Chong, but actually, all you do is fill up a form and attach a copy of your Verification Slip and 2004 Preliminary Results. That simple. Haha. And to think I was rather nervous too.
OHHHH yes. One more thing. Wanted to buy the $240 DVD LOTR set, but found out it was CODE 1. CODE 1!!! WHY???? I don't know if my DVD player can play it. It's supposed to be one of those 'multi-regional' players that can play all codes, but the other time we tried it didn't work. My dad said that we had to manually set it, but he wasn't sure how. So until my dad figures out how, LOTR is no-go. Oh well.
Wanted to buy The Day After Tomorrow DVD also, but didn't in the end. =(

Arts Central @00:02
I have no idea if The Twelve Kingdoms has a 'The' prefix or not. I don't think it matters, though. Anyway, I know I should wait until after Inuyasha to post, but since I'm online, I might as well.
TK has become quite interesting. I love the animation and the plot, now that I understand what is going on. ^^ Can't wait for tomorrow night! Yesh. Short post. Eek. Short posts are bad. And I didn't even blog to say anything much.
Attempted watching the new 9pm Channel 8 show yesterday and I didn't like it. It moved so slowly, I got impatient with it. And it stars Jeff Wang, whom I very much dislike. Furthermore, it's DUBBED. I HATE dubs of ANYTHING. I'm the kind of person who's a stickler for original tracks. In fact, I'm kind of a subtitle buff. Although English is my first language, I'll read the Chinese subtitles if they're present, sometimes even the Malay subtitles, even if I don't understand a word.
Oh yeah, does anyone watch The Oblongs? Every Thursday, 9.30pm on Arts Central. I think it's so funny. XD Everyone should watch it.
I seem to be watching a lot of Arts Central these few days. The guys at Mediacorp must love me now. *laments the passing of channel i... sigh...*

Perception @11:43
I could smell oranges in my dream. I find that interesting, because I've never had such an experience. When you think about it, it's probably just my brain reaching for the memory of the smell, firing off neurons onto a cluster of cells responsible for scent recognition. But it's fascinating anyway.
I read a newspaper article a few years back, about a man who couldn't recognise people. Apparently, he was involved in an accident which injured his brain, causing him to lose the ability to recognise faces. I find that thought rather disorienting. Just imagine being able to SEE, yet being unable to RECOGNISE what you see. Are you better off blind, then?
There was another case, where a man who injured his brain lost his depth perception in one eye. So when he closed his affected eye, he couldn't tell whether objects were near or far away. And of course, because we humans use stereovision, his depth perception was therefore permanantly out of whack anyway. I can't think how he might feel, not being able to tell how far away things are.
I was watching this show on Arts Central the day before, and I found out that we actually see in 2-dimensions. The light information is simply imprinted on our retina, and that's that. You probably know this (science lessons!), but the images that we see are actually inverted, because our eyes are like pinhole cameras. Our brains do all the interpreting and all the work, analysing the amount of shadow, light intensity, detail and texture of the object, and then decides for us how far away the object is.
So without the brain, your eyes don't really work very well.
Oh yeah, caught The Twelve Kingdoms and Inuyasha on Art Central's Japanese Cult Anime segment last night. It's on every Wednesday to Friday, from 11pm to 12am. I think I like Inuyasha better, but that's probably because the storyline was easier to follow. I was grappling with the plot of Twelve Kingdoms because I had no idea on the backstory or the plot. If you need to know, I caught the 4th episodes of the abovementioned anime, so I'm really stranded. Oh well. I think it started last week. Damn, missed them all. I'll be catching them today though, so maybe I'll understand it all better. ^^

Painting @23:49
Just did a 'bout of night painting. I didn't do it for very long, I think for only about half an hour, but I was doing detail work (in the night!) and I was squatting down, sandwiched between a row of pots and the wall, with a working space of less than a metre wide. And you know how much it hurts to squat for so long. The part at the back of your foot, just below the ankle, hurts when you move, and you really feel like you can never squat ever again, without falling on your bum instead. XD
Oh well. I didn't do much, really. I just complain a damn lot. ^^
Anyway, was surfing channels after watching the 9pm Channel 8 show, and caught MTV's Celebrity Deathmatch on Arts Central. I think it's funny, but I didn't get a lot of the jokes (because I live in a padded cell and only come out when they let me). Only enjoyed the McCaulay Caulkin (seriously, I have no idea how to spell his name) VS Haley Joel Osment match. HAH. Playground bully style! Oh yeah, you just KNEW the 'I see dead people' line was coming. XP
Oh yeah, they were showing Oh Carol! On NTV 7, a Malaysian channel. Old episodes, I think. The name of the episode had something to do with Two Gentlemen, but I forget. Anyway, it was about Kumar getting Carol to pose as his fake girlfriend because his mother was trying to matchmake him with this really fat Indian lady.
And did I mention? UTT IS SO HOTT. ^^ AAAHHH. That was the reason I watched Oh Carol!. I would have skipped it otherwise. Hehe. ^^

Failure @14:04
I didn't cycle in the end after all. It was raining when I woke up. Oh, and I didn't get up at 7. Hmm.
Although the sun came out after that, I was already on the computer, so NYAH. The weather today's been erratic, what with shower, BRIGHT SUN, heavy shower, sun, shower again, and now... I think it's overcast. Singapore weather is as fickle as a man's heart... haha. What a stupid simile. I shall stop being lame. ^^
OHDEAR. I've been on the computer for like... 4 hours. I can do it all day, you know, but I have little else to do, except read. Yes, I should read. But I renewed The Algebraist! It's due on 2 Jan. NEXT YEAR. Haha.
Been playing Golden Sun... >< Right now am at Mogall Forest, right after saving the people in Kolmina. This forest is driving me crazy. It's like walking in rounds and rounds and rounds... but I'm so proud of my characters! Here are their stats, because I feel like writing them down:

Luck 4
2 Djinn - Flint, Granite
Garet

Ivan
Class: Wind Seer

Okay, that was... lame. Hrm. Actually wanted to put that in a table, but WordPress is an ASS and keeps on removing my closing tag, which screws up all the damn HTML. I HATE YOU, WORDPRESS. It did that with my italic tags in a few posts, and I had to remove them. B2 was even worse, not letting me close my link tags... that gave me a right headache, I tell you. <edit> Oh yeah, there's another problem with the BOLD TAGS now, and I have to remove them -.-;</edit>
Oh, found out that someone actually LINKED me? I have a feeling I probably know how this person found me, but I shan't publicise my speculations because I might be wrong. Anyway, thanks to scryed.org for linking, and I will reciprocate the favour when I continue work on my site. For your information, there isn't anything new at Greyprism. Haha. Sorry. T_T

Barbecues & Frogs @09:24
The class gathering was quite fun.Major highlight was fixing up the barbecue 'pit' thing. Or the grill. Or whatever you call it. Zhuang just bought a new one from NTUC and it was the do-it-yourself (DIY!) kind. So Kathy, Felicia, Cherie, Yihui and I set to work. The instruction manual was pathetic and really not helpful. Several times, we had to dismantle our work and do it again because the parts were in the wrong places. And then was the problem of loose screws. You know what? Now I know the difference between a nut, a screw, a bolt and a washer. I feel so smart!
So eventually after much sweating and scrutinising and yelling for screws ('screw it!'), we finally got it done. When we had finished our work, everyone stood around it and exclaimed, 'So small?!' Yeah, it's pathetic, came up to the middle of my thigh. I guess it's a sit-down kind of mini barbeque pit.
After fixing the thing, Sam arrived and mixed the drink for us. Some 7-up and orange syrup combo. With lots of ice. ^^ All I remember of our lovely (horrible) barbeque pit was it chugging out so much smoke I think I was in danger of getting lung cancer. The rest is kind of normal, you now? Barbeque this, barbeque that, eat this, eat that. Eat, eat, eat, drink drink drink. There was a bit of a crisis with the chicken wings at first, because they were arguing whether it was cooked or not. Finally decided that we didn't care if the skin was charred because we were not going to eat it anyway.
Had a mini barbecue INSIDE the house. Marinated pork. It was quite good.
Oh yeah, the satay was heavenly!
Sat around with the class and watched the rerun of the Singapore Idol finals, with much screaming from the Sylvester supporters and much eye-rolling from us Taufik fans. -.-;
Anyway, I finished The Land of Laughs this afternoon. I don't really 'get' the ending. People say it's part-horror, but I don't get the horror part because I don't find the book the least bit horrifying at all. Oh well. But I loved Marshall France and his books, especially how Jonathon Carroll emphasised on the effect of the magic in his words, both on readers and residents alike... and the mere mention of Marshall France's fantastic characters is enough to make you wish that he was a real writer. The Land of Laughs, Pool of Stars, The Green Dog's Sorrow, The Night Races into Anna... and the odd, twisted town of Galen, Missouri...
Guess what. I just heard my mother screaming. Apparently, she discovered a frog sitting right outside our front door. It's kind of cute, but I didn't dare to open the door to look at it again because we were afraid that it would hop in and die in the house. My mother hates things dying in our house. We've already got dragonflies and I think probably a bird. Ew.

Six Weeks @01:37
I just watched Six Weeks on Channel i. It's the first episode I caught, sadly. I wanted to catch last week's, but I was at Genting. I missed the second week because I forgot. I wanted to watch the first week's, but it bored me a little in the beginning, so I didn't watch it. Excuses, excuses...
Anyway, it's really sad, in every sense of the word. Emotionally sad, sick sad, pathetic sad. I watched it with this perpetual lump in my throat and a horrible twisting in my gut. I guess the episode I watched was one of the more upbeat ones, what with the main character (I really can't remember his name) finally communicating with his son, and giving himself a sense of closure with a few people. The next episode centers around how he deals with his wife.
I think Adrian Pang is fantastic. What can you expect from a stage actor? I'm no critique of acting, so I shan't say much, except that I just love watching him. I missed Durian King though I loved the trailers. ^^
I think I'm one of the few who's actually mourning Channel i's passing. For those of you who've hidden in a hole, Channel i is officially dead come next year. I guess it isn't popular, but the movies on Channel i are fantastic. Caught Being John Malkovich just the other day. And you know, it also shows Dinotopia on Mondays with this really cute blonde guy I don't know the name of... mmm...
So I guess this post is a tribute to Channel i and SPH Mediaworks, in advance. Have a good passing! I'll be sad to see you go...
Onto a different subject, I joined up at Wolves of the Nothern Light again. I looked through my old archived stuff and found out that I'm joining slightly 2 years after I first joined as Pfeil the pup. Wow. That's kind of long ago. I just put up my joining post, and... wow, I feel the same old thrill all over again. It's so nostalgic and exciting. I can't wait for a reply. ^^
In case you have no idea what I'm talking about, I'm going on about wolf roleplay. I used to RP a LOT, and truthfully, WWS and Gold Moon Forest will be my home forever. However those are long gone, and all I have are grainy memories buried in dust. Tsk, I've gone all sad, now. ><'

Excuses @13:05
Rewatched Les Choristes today, and found it rather short. The first time I watched it, it meant so much, but now that I'm seeing it again, I don't feel so involved. Wonder why.
My parents are feeding me. I hate it. I'm so full and I feel bloated, and STILL they insist on feeding me. So I shove the food down my throat. Put in mouth, chew, swallow. Repeat. I don't understand why they do this. I'm already the most unhealthy person you can come across. I don't exercise. I know I should, yes, and I want to, but I'm lazy. And I know that's not a valid excuse either. I want someone to exercise with me, but there's no one. I'm too... embarrassed? To jog on my own, or swim on my own, or anything. I should ride my bike, but the tyre's flat. Excuses, excuses.
I'm just one big fat load of excuses.
I'm feeling uncomfortable now, because I've just been forced to down some green bean soup. No, the soup's fine, I like it, but I'm just SO DAMN FULL. I don't want any of it. Now I can't stand up straight without feeling like puking. Ugh.
Okay. I'm going to make a resolution to myself. Tomorrow, I'll poke around the storeroom and look for my bicycle pump. I'll fill the tyres with air, get a rag and wipe it up, and take it for a spin 'round the neighbourhood. AND, I'll get up at 7. Not do it at 7. Maybe after breakfast, about 9. But I've been getting up rather late, and you know the old adage, 'Early to bed, early to rise...' and I can't remember what comes next, but that's not the point.
Been rockin' on the Gameboy Advance playing Golden Sun. Damn, that shit is addictive.

Visitor Content @10:57
I'm still working out what kind of visitor content I should put up on Greyprism. Seriously, I have nothing much to offer. I was thinking of doing up some shrines dedicated to games I play. Maybe I should go through with it? But I'm not a real expert in any, in terms of gameplay or obsessiveness. ^^ So if I do, watch out for Golden Sun and Pokemon Red/Blue shrines or something. YES, Pokemon Red/Blue. The very first ones! I still play them and I don't really like the other Gold/Silver/Crystal or whatever versions. I did go quite far in Sapphire, but I wasn't as engaged as I was in Red/Blue. If I had to pick, it'd be RED to be my all-time favourite, although I started playing Blue first. ^^
I guess I'll put up some tutorials, but I have no idea what those tutorials should be ABOUT. I mean, I have no knowledge whatsoever to impart to you guys. Seriously. My knowledge of HTML is at a level of which most people possess, and I now zilch about PHP, only stuff like includes. Graphic manipulation? Come on, I only have Paint Shop Pro 7, and it's not that difficult to use. As I said in the work section, I believe that anyone can create digital art with the right tools *cough*ADOBE*cough*.
Come to think about it, I'm learning C++ programming. Yeah right. Learning, if you mean reading through the first chapter and then slacking off the rest? I cannot self-study at all, and I have no discipline. Right now I can only perform simple arithmetic functions, printf and scanf and all that. So I'm really not an authority to go to for C++ tutorials. Besides, you get to learn them in University (or maybe even JC, I don't know), why come to me?
Art tutorials? I can't draw. My art is a kind of untrained spasm, comes and goes when it feels like it, and does not base itself on any technique whatsoever. Perhaps the only art training I have ever received was in my Sec 2 art lessons where I learned how to shade from Ms Gwee.
I was also thinking if I should put up some RP stuff. You know, wolf RP. But I've been gone from the scene for almost a year. I have no... zi1 ge2... how do you say that in English? Qualifications? Right, I have no AUTHORITY to write anything on it or about it, even though I kind of miss it. T_T
I'd do some MP3 rotations or something because I like them, but I have a few problems. 1) I have a meagre MP3 collection and 2) It takes about half an hour to upload one MP3. That's not only bandwidth-sapping, it's also time-consuming. Gah, the tribulations of having only a 56 kbps modem to speak of! *drama*
Maybe I should make book shrines. Or something. Yeah, that'd be right popular. *sarcasm*
I'm such a boring person. I need to do something with my life.

More Stuff @11:39
There's more stuff up! The main links of about, site and work are up, but not the sub-links within them, except for The Basics in about. Okay, that's a lot of links. And if anyone noticed, I changed the 'projects' tab to 'work'. I decided that 'projects' wasn't a very accurate moniker for what I put under it. If you're still seeing the old image, press CTRL+F5 on IE to refresh without loading from your cache. That would do the trick.
I'm slowly but surely working on everything. Maybe it's my impatience, but I originally wanted to wait until I've refurbished everything to put up my blog, but I have a blog-itch and I start composing stuff in my head to post, so I just had to get it up somehow. ^^
I am running a tight schedule on my library books. Oh dear. I'm just about halfway through The Algebraist, which is due this Sunday. >< And do you know how long that book is? It's more than 500 pages long. Therefore right now I'm rushing through The Land of Laughs, which is kind of an easy read.
I think my new favourite author is Jonathan Carroll. He is a genius and his stories are wonderful. I'm going to read all his work too, as much as possible. The Land of Laughs is just so... quaint. That's how I feel about it. So countryside quaint and odd and magical.
Oh yeah, I'll have to renew Dune too. I\'m going to keep my nasty little paws on Dune for as long as possible because once I return it, I won't see it ever again, until Lady Luck knocks on my door once more. They don't even sell the book in Kinokuniya! Is that absurd or what?
And there's one more book by Stephen Baxter (who's a semi-favourite of mine), Time, that I want to renew, but I'm still not sure, because I'm quite positive I'll be able to find it the next time I return to the library. But I'm greedy. And it's only 50 cents per book, for a 3 week extension! Come on, just let me indulge myself a bit, please?
Anyway, the people we hired to paint our gates are doing it tomorrow. Acutally I really don't mind doing it myself. Dunno why the Parents choose to pay someone else to do it. Not like they'll pay me, but still. They're going to be black! How cool is that. They're actually green.
Oh yes, going to the class gathering at Zhuang's house tomorrow. Wonder how it will be, hmm? Some foreign place. And only Kathy and I are going. How sad. I bet not the whole class will turn up either, and I estimate about a little over 20? Maybe even less. We'll see.

Blog Is Up! @17:20
Okay, sorry for the long wait, folks! I bet everyone has given up reading this.
Anyway, here's a quick update on the situation. I've got the blog up and working, so you guys can continue reading about the horribly mundane minute details of my boring life. It took me quite a while to configure everything, but I'm sure I've done it correctly. ^^; But if you spot anything wrong, do tell me so I can fix it. I hate troubleshooting, although I've done quite a bit today. So much alt+tabbing between programmes my eyes are swimming. O.O
Right now what is NOT done is the content. I plan to revise most of the pages I have up on Greyprism, so look out for new stuff and the like! Therefore, some links work and others don't. I'll post and tell everyone when everything is finally up, okay?
After I'm done with my website (haha, my first priority... I feel selfish), I'll be working on the long-overdue class website for Sec 4 Diligence 2004. So keep an eye out for that too. I guess I'll be sms-ing everyone or emailing everyone about that, so no loss.
What have I been up to lately? It's the holidays, man! And if you read the horrible "please wait, I'm under construction" notice, you'll know that I went overseas. To be more specific, I went to Genting Highlands in Malaysia with my family, cousins and all. It was my first time there, although almost everyone I know has been there a billion times. But I had great fun, sitting on all the thrill rides (I did Corkscrew TWICE! MWAHHAHA), watching RM10 movies (White Chicks and The Incredibles) and being in cold weather (13 degrees!). I would like to go back again, definitely.
Weiqi and Yingwan have been raiding my house lately, using it as a makeshift recording studio. I should post links up to the shit we recorded, but really, it's too embarassing to be heard by the public, according to Weiqi, so I shan't. Well, I lied. She didn't say that, but she didn't like the recordings either, so I won't link to it anyway.
AND one last thing. I have been spending my time in front of the computer playing games. I should be reading! I have a pile of library books SCREAMING at me to be read. *guiltTHEALGEBRAISTguilt* I tell you, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance is terribly addicting. And I don't even LIKE thinking. I'm the RPG type of person. Yeah, FFTA is part-RPG, but it's a strategy game at heart, you know? Bwahaha. I don't now. It's that addicting, so don't start if you know what's good for you. XD
