Project Work Symposium
I'm getting too emotional lately. So I'll just... talk about something else today. The Project Symposium went okay, really. I was emceeing with Larissa. I personally thought I sucked real bad because I kept on stumbling over my words -- and forgetting to thank the schools. But Ms Poore came over and said we did a great job. I want to believe her (haha) but I know we're not that good. But she did praise our class! YAY! Go, 3D! We rock (to the moon and back)!

I guess I should do a short write up about it now, seeing that I have to do one later anyway for Connexio. So I'll probably use this as a guide. Since this IS extremely informal and not thought through.

Okay, so reached school at 7.30am and met Larissa... worked on our scripts until about 8.40am before proceeding to the New AVA room. I felt so shit during that time. Every other second I was, "Larri, HELP ME... I can't think of anything." I bet I was pissing her off majorly. Oh well.

So we went to the New AVA where we (I? okay, "I", because I can't speak for her) sat down and stoned at the activity that was going on in the room. Eventually 9am rolled around and we had to start. Er, yeah.

Umm, a group from our school went up first. If I don't remember wrongly, it was called "Okay" or something, and they did a project on gingerbread men. Next we had Nanyan Girls High School with The Joy Luck Club, Print-to-Screen. Those people were really good, man. And nice too, haha. Talked to them during break. They probably think I'm like, retarded. Oh well, who cares. After Nanyang was... er, hmm. I don't seem to really remember. I guess I'll have to check the programme booklet on Monday. So after [blank blank] was SCGS with a science project on how calcium chloride effects the mortality rate of guppies. Or something like that. Then was the 3T presentation on water...

Then reception! Finally a break. Teachers had coffee/tea we had lifeSpriNGS. Haha. I didn't take any, though.

After that we had this project on robots by Anglican High School... learnt something about the laws robots must obey and I find that quite cool... then we had Victoria School with, the horrors of the japanese occupation. Their IT stuff was good, d00d. Like, FLASH and ljfsdkf... *envy* Must learn flash. Must learn flash. They're sec 2, you know. But *whisper* their presentation skills need touching up. Er, then we had River Valley with effectiveness of mouthwash or something. Haha. Then, in my opinion, the most interesting group from ST NICKS!! did something on colourblindedness... last group for the day.

Then we moved to the drama studio to see the 3W presentation. They were running behind time, so we had to wait. Heard from Deborah that after the New AVA group came in, everyone wasn't really paying attention to the presentation anymore 'cos we were making too much noise. Oops.

After the last project... FREE LUNCH!! Chiong arh... haha. Okay. The food wasn't THAT great. But it's FREE. What do you expect? Haha. Gave Ms Poore and Mrs Kok chocolate from our class, to thank them for helping us. Aren't we sweet? Hehe.

Then went home. Yeah. Talked lots of nonsense with Deborah -- no, SISTER Amethyst (LOL...), scratched my bottle *sob* and waited for half an hour. Yeah.

Whatever d00d. Today was like, so unproductive man. Might write more later. Ta-ta.
